Training Policy
Please read our training policies below prior to attending our training.
Live Training Policy
Unless otherwise noted, live training attendees must have registered through their LMS account and participated in the live training (and all sessions of a trainings series) in its entirety from start to finish, including the completion of a post-training evaluation and quiz on the learning management system (LMS), in order to qualify for a completion certificate and any applicable continuing education units (CEUs). For in-person live training, training attendees are highly encouraged to plan extra time for travel in order to arrive on time for the training. Please note that a grace period of 15 minutes is offered for all applicable training.
A note regarding training attendee conduct during training: InUnity Alliance makes an ongoing effort to maintain a respectful and safe learning environment, and will not tolerate disruptive and inappropriate behaviors during training. Training attendees who disrupt training or display inappropriate behavior will be removed from the training and barred from future training, pending investigation into the incident. If training attendees notice inappropriate behavior occurring during training, please report it to our training admin team at training@iuany.org
For live webinars, attendees must access the webinar link through their LMS account in order for their attendance to be counted toward a completion certificate and any applicable CEUs. If a webinar attendee attends two trainings that occur in tandem, their attendance to both webinars cannot be verified and the webinar attendee will not get credit for attempting to attend both/either webinars.
Training attendance will be confirmed on the LMS 24 business hours after the live training. After 24 business hours, once attendance has been confirmed on the LMS, attendees will be able to access the post-training evaluation and quiz. Please allow for 24 business hours prior to contacting the training admin team regarding access to the post-training evaluation and quiz.
It is the responsibility of training attendees to check their attendance status on their LMS account 24 business hours after the live webinar. It is the responsibility of training attendees to complete the evaluation and quiz within 2 weeks after the end of the live webinar. After 2 weeks, attendees will lose access to the evaluation and quiz and they will be unable to complete the training—and they will not qualify for a training completion certificate or CEUs. For the post-training quiz, attendees will need to answer correctly 60% of the questions in order to pass. Attendees will have up to 3 attempts at passing the quiz.
It is the responsibility of training attendees to update their LMS profile with their credential/license information in order for their CEUs to be reflected on their CEU certificate. It is the responsibility of training attendees to print or download their completion certificates and any applicable CEUs from their LMS account for their personal records.
Please note that as of July 2020, we are unable to offer completion certificates or CEUs for training attendees who access the webinar outside of the LMS (participating only by phone or a shared link outside of the LMS), as we will be unable to count the participation.
Record-Keeping Policy for Training Certificates & Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
