We use Zoom as the platform to hold our webinars, which will now be hosted on our new learning management system (LMS). If you are not yet familiar with using Zoom, we recommend that prior to attending our webinar you visit the Zoom Help Center.

Most of our live webinars are not recorded, based on the preference of our training facilitators. Webinars that we are able to record are accessible through your LMS account after you register for and attend a live webinar.

Access to training materials for webinars you attend vary based on the preferences of the training facilitator to share their presentation materials. If we are able to share the training materials for a webinar, the links to the PowerPoint slides and handouts will be accessible through your LMS account after you register for and attend a live webinar.

No; once you are registered for a webinar, please use the meeting link for yourself only, especially if you want your attendance to count toward a training certificate.

Zoom as hosted on the LMS, automatically logs your attendance when you attend a webinar that you registered for, and Zoom also records the duration of time that you participated in a webinar, even if you come in and out of the virtual room. For your attendance to count, you must participate in the webinar from start to finish through your LMS account.

Please allow 24 business hours after the training for our training admin team to confirm your attendance on the LMS.

Yes, you may still participate in the webinar, even if your attendance can’t be counted toward a training certificate/CEUs.

The duration of your participation will automatically be logged by Zoom on the LMS when you attend a webinar, so if you encounter any technical issues that prevent your full participation, please let us know by emailing our training admin team at training@coalitionny.org

For webinars that offer CEUs, attendees who are looking to qualify for applicable CEUs must access the live webinar through their LMS account and participate in the webinar for the whole duration from start to finish, including all sessions of a webinar, in order for their attendance to count toward their CEUs. We cannot give partial CEUs for partial participation in the webinar.

Webinar attendees looking to qualify for applicable CEUs are required to complete a post-training evaluation and quiz on the LMS. For more information about CEU requirements please visit our website’s Training Policy Page.

We are currently offering live webinar CEUs for licensed Social Workers (LMSW/LCSW) and Mental Health Counselors (LMHC). We offer CASAC CEUs for select, live webinars.

Due to our limited administrative capacity, we currently cannot offer CEUs for other types of license/credentials; however, we are working toward expanding our CEU offerings in the future.

No, at present, we are unable to offer CEUs for non-live/recorded webinars.

We indicate the number of CEUs offered by each webinar on our list of upcoming webinars in the LMS and on our training announcements sent to our training listerv.

For webinars offered since May 2020, completion certificates and CEUs will be accessible on the new LMS from Monday, 09 November 2020, until Monday, 10 May 2021. For trainings and webinars prior to May 4th, 2020, we have closed access to certificates in our former LMS, as we have transitioned out of our former LMS since May 13th, 2020. We sent out an email outreach to all of our LMS users in April 2020, in order to ensure that any previous training certificates on the former LMS could be accessed prior to May 13th, 2020.
